Luoding Polytechnic is located in the famous cultural city of Luoding, which is in the west of Guangdong province and next to Guangxi province.Luoding is a friendly/small city which is easily reached from Guangzhou.Travel from Luoding to Guangzhou by bus takes about three and a half hours. The temperature city range is from 10'c in the winter to 30'c in the summer .

Our college was once Luoding normal school(technical secondary school)which was founded in 1928 and very famous in and out of Guangdong province. In 2001,the normal school was promoted to Luoding Polytechnic(our academy).There are more than 5000 students from many provinces in China and 305 teachers now. There are about 1300 students in the Foreign Language Department. The foreign teachers work for 5 days per week in the Foreign Language Department. The students are between 17-23 years old.Their English level ranges from basic through intermediate.

All necessary facilities are available on campus plus a large outdoor swimming pool,and fully equipped foreign teacher apartments. Luoding Polytechnic is a school run by the government.
